BREAKING: President Joe Biden is Declared Winner of the Texas Primary

AUSTIN, Texas – Today, voters across Texas sent a resounding message of confidence in President Joe Biden, who is on track to receive a record number of votes for an incumbent president running for re-election in the Democratic primary. President Biden is expected to receive all 244 of Texas' national delegates at the statewide and congressional district level, further demonstrating that Texans are eager to keep Joe Biden in the White House.

Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa issued the following statement:

“President Biden has utilized his time in office to improve the lives of Texans, build America’s economy back, and repair the damage done by Trump and his MAGA cronies in Washington. The Biden-Harris Administration is taking action to bring more good-paying jobs to Texas, expand Medicaid in Texas, combat the gun violence epidemic, enhance border security and protect the freedoms of women’s healthcare decisions.

“The Texas Democratic Party is proud to stand behind President Biden as he and Vice President Harris seek a second term. We are looking forward to keeping him in the White House and electing more Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.”
