State of Chaos: Chair Hinojosa and Michelle Vallejo Issue Response Following MAGA Monica De La Cruz’s Spanish-Language Rebuttal
AUSTIN, Texas – Tonight, Monica De La Cruz delivered the MAGA Spanish-language rebuttal following the State of the Union address. De La Cruz’s response focused on the core values of the MAGA extremist movement: anti-personal liberty, anti-working family and radically pro-Trump.
“MAGA Monica De La Cruz is a loyal servant to the Trump and MAGA movement that aims to divide our country and endanger our democracy. In tonight’s speech, De La Cruz notably danced around her party’s state of chaos. The MAGA-controlled Congress has failed to deliver a single bill for working families – despite President Biden and Democrats’ efforts to pass bipartisan solutions to border security, the economy and reproductive healthcare. If De La Cruz is the best representative that MAGA extremists can find to defend their abhorrent excuse for leadership – you know their party is in bad shape. Texas Democrats are standing firmly with Michelle Vallejo to restore South Texans’ faith in Congress and send a serious leader to fight for the values of Texans,” said Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa.
