Why Texas Democrats are Supporting Congressman Kucinich
|
"On the issues I care most about, including universal health care, the war in Iraq, affordable and available education, and full marriage equality, Representative Kucinich is not afraid to give his honest opinion and present real solutions. We need his kind of candor and forward thinking in the White House!" Daniel in Lampasas "I have never had a candidate to support who represents my views as well as Dennis Kucinich. His stand on the war (opposing it from the start), personal freedoms, universal health care, and immigration represent the direction I think this country needs to move in. I am also impressed by the courageous stand he took in not selling the Cleveland Public Utilites, not backing down, even in the face of serious death threats." Sue in Odessa "He has never been fooled by George Bush or the Bush administration, has THE BEST health care plan of any candidate, and has ALWAYS promoted peace first. Also, Dennis has always stood up for tolerance and equality and justice for all." Kathleen in Houston "I support Dennis Kucinich because he has the courage to speak openly and honestly, not bowing to political pressure. He stands for PEACE! He really believes in what he presents as his ideals. I think he is an honest man, a true American statesman, and a principled legislator." Cindy in Cedar Park |
