2009 TDP Trainings

Over the past 6 months, the Texas Democratic Party took action to educate Democrats from all corners of the state with the tools needed to be successful in the upcoming election year. Many hours were spent on the road and in meeting places, training hundreds of participants on how to best organize effective, 21st century campaigns. TDP resources such as the campaign camps, webinars and the Campaign Academy have equipped Democrats to win up and down the ballot in 2010.

What a few participants had to say:

“The Academy was able to train me in various capacities in order take on any role within a Campaign. I learned something different each time, and the speakers were invaluable. Without this Academy I would not have been able to manage and win my first campaign.”
- Rachael Gass, Houston (Campaign Camp and Campaign Academy participant)

“I found that the TDP did a great job of getting trainers who were extremely knowledgeable in their field, many of whom would be considered the most knowledgeable in our state on the topic.”
- Austin Stout, Spring (Campaign Camp and Campaign Academy participant)

“As a new County Chair, it was enlightening to review the campaign preparations and details, and meet the wide spectrum of candidates, campaign staffs, and precinct/county volunteers attending the camp.”
- Richard Maddern, Lampasas (Campaign Camp and Webinar participant)
