Texas Democratic Party: Moving Texas Forward

(Austin, TX) – Texas Democratic Party Chairman Boyd Richie is proud to announce the launch of the completely redesigned TDP website.

The new website, at www.txdemocrats.org, features an exciting new video entitled By the Numbers, which was unveiled to DNC members during their meeting in Austin this past weekend.  By the Numbers illustrates the gains made by Texas Democrats in recent election cycles.  This website upgrade is part of the TDP’s work toward statewide success in 2010.

The new website features:

• Links to the TDP’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.  The TDP Facebook page launched earlier this month and already has over 1,500 fans.  We joined Twitter this week and have over 100 followers.
• Resources for candidates and grassroots activists
• “Take Action” tools for any Texan to make their voice heard

“Our new website will play a key role in an effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot and win statewide,” said Texas Democratic Party Chairman Boyd Richie.  “The 2010 elections are just around the corner and the Texas Democratic Party is working to equip Democrats from all 254 counties with the tools they’ll need to organize at the most local level.”
