Five Border Fence Lies
Everyone knows that Christmas is the time for giving and spreading good will - especially with our neighbors. But as usual, John Cornyn doesn't comprehend the true meaning of the Holiday Spirit. Take for example the proposed border fence that is advocated by right wing extremists. For years, Cornyn claimed to oppose a border fence, stating that, "We cannot and should not build a wall on the U.S. and Mexico border," calling the wall a "19th-Century solution to a 21st-Century problem." Cornyn also said he doesn't believe that, "you can build a wall high enough or wide enough to keep out people who have no hope or opportunity where they live." [Dallas Morning News 8/6/07]
