Joseph A. Califano, Jr. : "The Johnson Legacy: Lessons for the New President (Social)
Keynoting the Dec 4, 5 LBJ Centennial Symposium will be LBJ's former Special Assistant and Senior Domestic Policy Advisor, Joseph A. Califano, Jr. Gathering together for the evening's conversation with Califano will be former LBJ staffers as well as family and friends of the former President along with Symposium attendees. Reflections by Califano will be the highlight of a day that features the LBJ Library releasing the last segment of President Lyndon B. Johnson's telephone conversations, dating from May 1968 to January 1969. www.lbjlib.utexas.edu All Symposium activities, including Califano's keynote, are open to the public.
