The 2008 Democratic National Convention marks the beginning of a new era. Here Democrats from all over the country will nominate the next President of the United States and hear their message of change. Texas will send 228 outstanding delegates to the National convention. If you are interested in being a Delegate or Alternate to the National Convention, you need to declare your candidacy by downloading this form, filling it out, and delivering it to the TDP between April 21st and May 21st. You do not even need to be a delegate to the State Convention to be a candidate.
