Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa issued the following statement:
“In 2018, Texas Democrats shattered all expectations, earned the trust of Texans in two new congressional districts, and delivered the best statewide margin in a generation. The 2020 map is clear, the best way for Democrats to expand our U.S. House majority is to invest in Texas.
“We made great strides and will continue the fight for affordable healthcare, strong public schools, and an economy that works for everyone. This isn’t a game for us, it’s about changing people’s lives. That’s what we fight for, and we’ll never stop.”
